Hi, I'm Sam,
When you wake up in the morning, what do you think about? Do you remember the anxiety you put on hold to catch some shut-eye or do you bring new ones to the surface and spend sometime patting yourself on the back as to how creative you are giving life and power to something that shouldn't have as much hold over you as it does? Experience has made it abundantly clear that it is pointless crying over spilt milk; wasting time crying and analyzing why the milk spilt or what you could've done differently never puts the milk back into the carton. Every little thing eventually makes something big, your patience to place those little pieces at the appropriate position and the extra patience to bring pieces down just to fix or replace a piece that is not exactly as it should be sets you apart in so many distinct ways. The time and effort that goes into taking the right steps, picking the rights pieces, knowing when and where to place each piece while being teachable and having the gracious capacity to make adjustments is what matters in the long haul.
I have always had this deep distrust towards people who lack the sense of urgency. The ability to match their actions to the right mood. It tells me one thing, it's either you know what is required of you and you don't want to do it or you have zero clue of what is required of you when it's required of you, which is somehow even worse. To build a masterpiece, you have to act right and promptly. An artist or designer can say that a mistake is a design but no one stumbles on a mistake by doing nothing. You must have had some kind of design you want to achieve before you took a detour as a result of the mistake. You can only miss your way or discover something by doing something which is one of the reason consistency is always encouraged. You discover better and easier ways to do something when you sit and do the work, whatever you're doing ultimately becomes a part of you.
The next step is always and should be treated as the best step. The burning desire to take the next steps to create a masterpiece only proves you're on the right track. The stride for the next step must not be very wide, it just needs to be strategic and full of desire and the right feelings of the next thing to do. The next step takes you to the next step, the next steps either shows a progression or regression which is why the next step is a very important step because its going to tell you something, and it won't always tell you what you wish to hear but what you need to hear. It pauses you and smacks you across the face if that is what is required or pats you on the back if that is also what is required but the next step will always lead to the next step and continues that way till you get to where you're going to.

I am guilty of watering down emotions when I tell a story, I am not particularly interested in conveying the emotions, I just want you to have the facts and know exactly what happened or what would've happen. I don't want to lose the emotions attached to my story, I want to hold on to it but I want to tell the story so that it can be a little lighter for me to carry because I will hold on to those emotions for a life time. I want to hold on to the emotions but not let it weigh me down and make my journey more difficult than it needs to be. The emotions makes my hard work worth it, makes me feel like I am doing something tangible because I not only have something tangible and physical to prove my hard but I have something not physical to accompany the physical and tell the same stories. It feels like my emotions reinforce the foundation of what I am creating physically.
From the experience of a broken heart, you can find the absolute love of your life and experience the best undiluted and unfiltered love you never knew existed but has been waiting for you to get to a point where you have no other option than to open up and receive the love. New love will not waste its time putting back the pieces of your broken heart, it regenerates your heart that no matter how bad you thought your heart was broken, you find that after you've soaked yourself in the new love, you don't feel broken whenever you remember the hurt you experienced in the past. You almost have a rational explanation as to why your previous "love" didn't work out and you will be glad that it didn't work out because what seemed like that tiny pieces of your life has led and prepared you for the masterpiece love that you never could've imagined in your wildest dreams.
Everyone has a story about something, what matters the most in having a story is how emotional you get when you share it and how people feel whenever they hear your story. A story that shows that you built something from something or something from nothing, you just have to find the best words to narrate your reality or what was your reality. You say it to convey every emotion that you felt during that period just so it has the same amount of weight. When the feelings are conveyed, it doesn't leave you but if its something unbearable, with each sharing, it may become a little bearable. It is one thing to build something and its another thing to tell the story to encourage a fellow builder no matter how little.
